The city of Neu-Ulm is currently seeking a Park and Garden Worker (m/f/d) for our construction yard.


Compensation:
Pay grade 4 according to TVöD, plus collective bargaining allowances


Working hours:
Full-time


Vacation: 30 days of vacation entitlement for a 5-day work week


Your main responsibilities:


  • Pruning and trimming of shrubs and ground cover areas
  • Assisting with plantings
  • Cleaning of sidewalk edges
  • Hedge trimming
  • Removal of weeds and wild plants
  • Assisting with special tasks of the construction yard (helping with the setup and cleaning of events and festivals)
  • Participation in winter service duties

Requirements:


  • Completed vocational training is advantageous
  • Class BE driver's license or willingness to obtain one
  • Experience with motorized gardening equipment
  • Experience in maintaining flower beds is advantageous
  • Willingness to work overtime, including during winter service and outside of regular working hours
