Your responsibilities

The assistant's area of responsibility includes supporting teaching.

A special focus is on the subjects of fundamentals of design, fundamentals of drafting, and fundamentals of computer-aided design methodology.

In addition, there is also teaching in consultation with the responsible lecturers.

Scientific research, collaboration on scientific publications, and contributing to the external representation of the university are further tasks of this position.

Your profile


Requirements for employment include an above-average university degree in the field of architecture, at least one year of professional experience after completing studies is desirable, as well as proficiency in spoken and written language, good English skills, organizational talent, and personal suitability.

In addition, very good design and drawing skills in both analog and digital areas are required. Furthermore, very good knowledge of specialized CAD and graphics programs as well as the MS Office package is necessary.

Our offer


The position is to be filled at the Kaiserslautern campus of the University of Applied Sciences Kaiserslautern in the Department of Building and Design, starting as soon as possible, on a part-time basis (50%) and is limited to 2 years.
