Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain processes to ensure quality standards are met
Collaborate with the Quality Manager to create specific quality strategies for each account, if needed
Work closely with project managers to coordinate the entire LQA review process, ensuring a realistic schedule with enough time for all steps
Create and update instructions for reviewers on processes and tool usage
Contribute to the improvement of systems and procedures, identifying issues and proposing solutions
Partner with the Recruiting Department to identify and replace underperforming vendors, even after implementing action plans
Create and maintain Quality Plans in accordance with client requirements
Lead rootcause analysis and determine next steps through RCAs, including implementing corrective actions for immediate issues and designing longterm plans for stable quality levels
Keep track of quality and vendor performance data and produce statistical reports
Assist account teams in organizing calls with linguists and client reviewers as needed
Educate linguists on client review workflow and best practices, and resolve any quality issues that arise
Translate and/or edit medical documents when necessary

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Translation studies or equivalent
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a medical or life sciences translator
Proficiency in using CAT Tools
Expertise in using at least one Translation Quality Assurance Tool (such as ApSIC Xbench, Verifika, ErrorSpy, etc.)
Experience in Project Management is a plus
Native or nearnative fluency
