- Participate in structural engineering assignments as part of a design or inspection team.
- Perform engineering calculations and prepare MicroStation/CADD drawings as required.
- Utilize engineering analysis software to perform LRFD ratings of bridges.
- Take part in structure inspection assignments. Take photos & measurements; produce sketches.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering reports documenting inspection findings.
- Other duties as may be assigned to meet business needs.
- Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering field
- 6 or more years of experience in structural engineering assignments for DOTs or Railroads.
- Familiarity with AASHTO, AREMA, AISC and ACI design codes.
- Ability to solve problems and plan tasks with an understanding of 'Critical Path Management'.
- Ability to clearly describe observations and convey information with sketches and technical writing.
- PE License

Applicants must possess strong technical skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work in the field conducting bridge assessments and must be able to work well in a team environment on multi-disciplinary projects.
