The BRK district association in Kensington Park, FL is part of the national and international Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.

As a member of the independent welfare organization, recognized provider of youth welfare services, and national relief society, the district association and its employees, both paid and volunteer, are committed to the seven fundamental principles of the Red Cross:
humanity, impartiality, neutrality, independence, voluntary service, unity, and universality.

School companions contribute to meeting the support needs of students with disabilities in their daily school life. They ensure that the student can cope with school life better and as independently as possible.

Within the scope of school support, services are provided on behalf of the young person to enable them to attend school.

The aim of this assistance is to help the young person cope with school life and related events (e.g. school and sports festivals, class trips, internships).


Your tasks will include:

  • Assisting in the classroom and other school events, such as preparing and clearing the student's school bag, setting up their workspace, supporting them during breaks, helping with dressing and undressing, and ensuring personal hygiene.
  • Providing support in the social and emotional areas, such as facilitating social contacts with other students with the goal of integration into the class, helping with motivation issues (e.g.
