JOB SUMMARY:

SERV is looking for a full-time, receptionist to join our team in our Clifton office.

The Receptionist will greet and assist visitors and clients of the organization and who provides clerical services to the Office Manager and the Management team and assists in serving as clerical and computer support to all the office staff.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Duties include typing, filing, copying, handling of office equipment, telephones, data entry, chart audits, purchase orders, office supplies and processing of bills, clients' checks and mail.
  • Welcome guests, employees, and clients who arrive at the office and clarify the purpose of their visit and who they want to see.
  • Send out and receive mail, documents, supplies and packages.
  • Distribute items to mailboxes and offices as requested.
  • File and keep good records. Maintain office supplies and reorder as needed.
  • Maintain an organized filing system.
  • Manage a schedule for those needing support and schedule appointments as required.

EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL & ABILITY:


  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrates appropriate clerical skills to perform job tasks.
  • At least one year experience in data entry, MS Office, filing, and bookkeeping.
  • Performs other duties from timetotime deemed appropriate by the supervisor.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:


  • Valid Driver's License

Physical Requirements:


  • Mobility and ability to bend and reach during an eighthour day.
  • Able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds.
  • Visual and auditory acuity sufficient to evaluate information and maintain accurate records.
  • Fine motor skills and legible and accurate writing of reports, daily correspondence and presentation either manually or orally.
