Responsibilities:


  • Communicates daily with Director of Food and Beverage and Banquet Manager to ensure consistency and provide a quality event experience for all members and guests
  • Along with the Director of Food and Beverage and Banquet Manager, manages banquet functions to ensure proper staffing, room preparation, and event execution
  • Remains present for the entire event to ensure proper service standards are being executed
  • Assists with event set up and insures specifications outlined in the Banquet Event Order
  • Assists with breaking down function areas as scheduled in accordance to departmental procedures
  • Demonstrates knowledge of menu items, preparation methods, and potential allergens
  • Maintains contact with event coordinators and event host to ensure guest satisfaction and resolve any complaints
  • Regularly conducts walk throughs and spot checks during events, ensures proper corrective actions are taken to address any deficiencies
  • Anticipates guest needs and is willing to go above and beyond to accommodate them
  • Assists in the selection, development, leadership and retention of talented food and beverage banquet staff members
  • Ensures proper grooming and uniform standards are followed by all employees
  • Performs any other job related duties as assigned

Requirements:


  • 23 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage with a strong concentration on Banquet Operations
  • Selfstarting personality with an even disposition. Willing to work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Must be willing to "pitchin" and help co
- workers with their job duties and be a team player

  • Must have comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
  • Ability to communicate effectively, perform multiple tasks and prioritize needs in fast paced environment
  • Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations
