Job Details:

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE JOB SUMMARY:


  • Functions as a liaison for the research department conducted through the Research and all other departments
  • Schedules for Research, Cardiac MRI, Cardiac PET and Cardiac CT
  • Communicates effectively with patients and staff. Generates reports for imaging procedures in expeditious manner
  • Collects pertinent information and clinical data through medical records while maintaining patient confidentiality. Reviews and analyzes source documentation to enter onto case report forms or electronic database as directed by Research RN
  • Retrieves medical records, and media for angiography, radiology, echocardiography, EKG and procedural reports from appropriate departments for research patient records and/or submission to appropriate core labs
  • Maintains office equipment and supplies to include but not limited to computer, facsimile and Xerox, ordering supplies and scheduling maintenance as needed

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE REQUIREMENTS:


  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Ability to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard

USD $ USD $32.
