About us:

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about supporting young people from abroad who arrive in Berlin without a guardian.

Our goal is to provide comprehensive support and guidance to help them integrate into our society and plan for their future.

Ideally, you have relevant experience in intercultural work, refugee support, and/or trauma pedagogy. You may also be open to expanding our concept to include local youth.

You enjoy working with volunteers and honorary guardians, involving them in practical tasks and consulting with them on organizational, conceptual, and networking matters.

You foster a culture of recognition and appreciation for their voluntary work and have experience in professional collaboration with volunteers.

You regularly develop networking activities, establish partnerships in the region and in Berlin, maintain contacts, and contribute to public relations for our organization in a suitable and qualified manner.

You are guided by general principles such as a focus on the individual's environment and resources, as well as systemic and constructive thinking.

You approach your work with humor, perseverance, and compassion, finding meaning and purpose in it.

Your commitment is holistic, meaning you reflect on your feelings and thoughts professionally, including in team meetings and external supervision.

You are willing to adapt your working hours to the lifestyle of our young people, which may include early mornings, but primarily afternoons, evenings, and some weekends (on-call availability).

You efficiently document your work using standard office software and ideally bring another language to our team.
