Position Summary
Essential Functions
- Perform moderately complex assembly/test functions using mechanical skills, hand and power tools, mechanical/electronic tools, test equipment, assembly fixtures, and inspection measurement equipment.
- Record test results on data forms using moderately complex electrical equipment and flow measurement devices.
- Identify malfunctions disclosed by test data and perform reworks as instructed.
- Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, service bulletins, customer requirements, and quality directives.
- Produce and inspect assemblies that conform to product specifications.
- Perform touchup or full surface painting of parts with finishing materials such as paint, lacquer, glaze, etc.
- Actively participate in lean initiatives by identifying and providing suggestions on areas for improvement.
- Assist in training less experienced team members.
- Observe all safety rules and maintain a foreign object damage (FOD) free work area.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated in accordance with the calibration schedule.
Job Requirements
- Two or more years industry related experience in assembly/test in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in reading and understanding blueprints, route sheets, and test specifications.
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations, and demonstrate effective verbal, written, and basic computer skills.
- Possess effective interpersonal communication skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.
- May require soldering certification per customer requirements.
- Ability to effectively demonstrate team member competencies and participate in goal setting, performance feedback, and selfdevelopment activities.
Pay:
$ $26.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
