The Cogito Retail GmbH & Co. KG is looking for you to join our team as soon as possible.

Your challenge with us

You will be involved in the development of sophisticated windows, Java, and RPG-based standard software for our major clients:

  • Development of object-oriented structures (for ERP/merchandise management systems)
  • Development of distributed systems (client/server)
  • Development of web applications (e.g. mobile order processing or route accounting)
  • Technical review of customer requirements
  • Ensuring application structure
  • Training and support of junior developers

This team awaits you

There are a total of 18 colleagues in Essen, 10 of whom are in the development team. You will find a very familiar atmosphere where we even cook together during lunch breaks. It is a team where everyone helps each other and can rely on one another. Will you support our team in Essen?

Your qualifications

  • Education or degree in the field of STEM or several years of professional experience
  • Sound knowledge of C#, Java/Kotlin knowledge would be a plus
  • Experience with frameworks such as Bootstrap, jQuery, .NET, ASP.NET, or Infragistics
  • Desirable knowledge of CSS, X
