For our construction department at the Pfronten location, we are currently looking for a/an:
DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER FOR MACHINE SAFETY (M/F/D)

Job Description

  • Creation of risk assessments for machine tools and automation solutions
  • Creation of evidence of functional safety for our machines and automations
  • Safety-related support of development projects in interdisciplinary teams
  • Clarification of safety-related questions

Applicant Profile

  • Successfully completed studies in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, alternatively comparable qualification
  • Several years of experience in the field of machine safety, CE conformity and the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC
  • Many years of professional experience in the application of standards and guidelines (especially EN ISO 13849, IEC 62061)
  • Knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic circuit technology
  • Very good PC and IT skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as experience with Visio and Sistema advantageous
  • Independent and responsible work as well as a strong understanding of technical relationships
  • Teamwork, flexibility and communication skills
  • Good knowledge of English in spoken and written form
