The German Choral Youth (DCJ) empowers young voices

With around children and young people in approximately 2,500 choirs and ensembles, we are the largest representation of young singers in Germany. We promote musical and cultural education, youth participation, voluntary engagement, and international exchange. In projects and educational programs such as SingBus or ChorLeiCa, we focus on participation and inclusion - artistically, pedagogically, and organizationally.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Youth Education Officer for our headquarters in Berlin

•starting date negotiable

•full-time or part-time possible, team applications welcome

•workplace: remote, Berlin, business trips to projects

Responsibilities

•Chorleica educational program: nationwide implementation, ongoing evaluation and optimization, continuous brand management

•Chorbegegnungen funding program: continuous support for the predominantly voluntary responsible persons in the application process, implementation, settlement, and proof of funding, implementation of participation and transcultural learning, continuous optimization, brand management

•professional and appropriate use of funding from the Federal KJP for national and international projects with support from the Finance department
