For our operational procurement, we are currently looking for an operational purchaser to start immediately.

The scope of responsibilities includes the following tasks:


  • Creating inquiries, orders, and order confirmations, tracking delivery dates, and verifying invoices
  • Analyzing potential for optimization in the automatic procurement of items in the relevant area
  • Handling the supply of parts to our international subsidiaries
  • Supporting project procurement
  • Maintaining item data in the ERP system
  • Handling commercial complaints (internal and external).

Required qualifications / experience:


  • Completed technical education, ideally with further qualification in the commercial field
  • Several years of experience in technical procurement, ideally in the field of valve construction
  • Knowledge of working with ERP systems (Infor LN, SAP, etc.) and MS Office applications
  • Experience in procurement according to national and international standards (DIN, EN, ISO, ASTM, ASME)
  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Structured and goaloriented work approach, strong cost awareness
  • Good contact and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
  • Strong team player and ability to work independently with suppliers on site.
