Overview:

Duties:


  • Maintain positive employee relationships with existing employees and potential employees.
  • Participate in daily care plan meetings with Sunland Home Care office staff and be familiar with Sunland Home Care clients and potential client needs. Track and follow up with staff on action items.
  • Oversee employee availability and work schedules and handle employee requests for information or time off and other related duties.
  • Assist in processing timesheets, hours worked and maintain accurate billing/payroll records using the Axis Care calendar.
  • Oversee Client/Caregiver relationships and care coordination of all staffing needs.
  • Lead new hire orientations, training, and staff development projects.
  • Responsible for overseeing the completion of new hire paperwork; to include background checks, credentials, and payroll documents.
  • Answer phone calls and participate in oncall shifts and holiday coverage.
  • Oversee caregiver credentials.
  • Represent Sunland Home Care to all organizations and agencies as appropriate.
  • Maintain positive client and family relationships
  • Distribute prospects to the Marketing team while being competent answering general questions.
  • Resolve client and caregiver concerns
  • Ensure all staffing and scheduling needs are exceptional with no loose ends.
  • Solve any issues that may arise with regard to customer staffing.
  • Be prepared to replace staff members who "No-Show" or who call out at the last minute with either a replacement caregiver or yourself.
  • General office coordination: supplies, printing, refreshments
  • Handle all time off requests as well as administer all company policies with staff
  • Be able to work in multiple software platforms synonymously.
  • Create a monthly caregiver newsletter in CANVA and mass distribute.

Requirements:


  • 35 years Clerical and Administrative experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills
  • Leadership qualities (high energy level, diplomatic, performance driven, customer service oriented, and ability to lead a team) are a must.
  • Must be able to move quickly but make intelligent decisions.
  • Be seen as a very fair leader who makes informed decisions.
  • Experience in the home care, assisted living, skilled nursing, or related healthcare fields.
  • Must have a valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance, with applicable proof of certification and / or licensure.

Pay:
$60,000.00 per year
