For a client in Thuringia, we are currently looking for a Senior Physician (m/f/d) for General and Visceral Surgery to start as soon as possible.

The hospital is a modern, regional acute care facility. The Department of General, Vascular and Visceral Surgery treats approximately patients annually. The spectrum of the department includes all established general and visceral surgical procedures. The visceral surgical spectrum includes all oncological surgery of the abdominal area up to pancreaticobiliary surgery without esophageal resections.

The hospital is located in Thuringia, in the valley of the White Elster river in the Thuringian Vogtland region. The nearest major cities to the hospital location are Gera, Zwickau, Plauen, and Chemnitz.

Your responsibilities - challenging and diverse

  • Collaboration with the chief physician and responsibility in the management team of the department
  • Treatment of patients in the field of general and visceral surgery
  • Supporting the medical team with various tasks in the operating room and on the ward
  • Participation in in-house and external training and further education
  • Participation in on-call duty
