Your task is to further develop the software of our intelligent measurement systems and make it more efficient through automation.

This means that you are proactively responsible for reducing leaks in pipelines globally through your work, thus protecting the environment sustainably.

To strengthen our team at the development site in Berlin, we are looking for a physicist (m/f/d) with a focus on algorithm development as soon as possible.

Your tasks:

Development of clustering algorithms
Shaping, implementing and communicating technological trends in the areas of DevOps, Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, containerization and Big Data
Working at the interface between prototype development and professional software development
Support with questions about architecture, coding style and best practices, e.g. in the form of code reviews and trainings
Creating wellstructured, versioned and maintenancefriendly source code
Close collaboration with the development team to overcome technical challenges
Big Data: Identification and linking of heterogeneous data sources as well as building suitable infrastructures and analysis algorithms
Automation of work steps in data analysis and data recording

Your qualifications:

You have at least 3 years of relevant work experience
Completed university degree in mathematics, physics, engineering or computer science
Very good programming skills in Python and C++
Strong analytical thinking and abstraction skills
