Description

  • Fully responsible for the operation of the laboratory domain, including all associated services such as DNS and DHCP
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all measurement and analysis systems located in the SSD CO TPP SPA
  • Responsible for timely calibration of systems, including maintenance of the test and measurement equipment list
  • Conducting measurement tasks, including analyses in all layers of the OSI model
  • Conducting evaluations and market analyses to determine new measurement and analysis techniques in order to respond to newly implemented technologies within the company (e.g. 100G technology)
  • Conducting load tests to determine the performance limits of various IT systems such as servers, firewalls, infrastructure, and necessary vulnerability analyses
  • Completed degree in computer science or a comparable education
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience as a system engineer (m/f/d)
  • Very good network knowledge and extensive experience with Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Very good knowledge of protocol worlds for error analysis of data streams
  • Knowledge of programming languages is advantageous
  • ITIL V4 certification desirable
  • Willingness to travel
  • Negotiable German language skills, as well as solid English language skills in spoken and written form
