MEDICARE TELESALES REPRESENTATIVE

(Hybrid)


Under the leadership of the Business Development/Training Manager, Sales Operations the Medicare Telesales Representative is responsible for providing positive, consistent, daily engagement via telephone with prospective members.

The Representative will educate prospective members on VillageCareMAX Medicare products and enroll into product of choice over the phone or other sales enrollment channels.


Essential Job Functions:

Takes appropriate number of inbound telesales calls from the assigned queue. Follows up on all prospective leads that come through various channels by making outbound calls. Conducts sale presentations by using approved scripts. Meets or exceeds assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual quota. Consistently cross sells and closes all available product lines. Develops and implements pipeline plan to achieve sales quota.

Effectively utilizes sales technology and tools to support day to day activities including call center telephone system and contact management software to track inbound and outbound call activity results.

Responsible for relationship building with referral sources to leverage the position of VillageCareMAX in the marketplace to achieve objectives for increased corporate Medicare membership and profitability.

Executes Medicare retention programs by assisting existing Medicare members during AEP and cross selling year-round ancillary products. Complies with all federal (CMS) and state (DOI) regulations that govern the Medicare plans. Performs any other job-related duties as assigned.


Education:
High School diploma or equivalent. Active New Yok Life and Health
Insurance License is required


Experience:

2 -3 years of telesales or member/account service experience with strong history of
delivering results. Strong working knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid and other government health programs/income assistance programs. Experience working with senior citizens and low-income individuals.

Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear, handle or feel objects and controls.

Manual dexterity necessary to efficiently operate office equipment. Minimal bending, carrying, kneeling, crawling, reaching, pushing, and pulling. Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. May be required to stand and/or remain in a stationary position for long periods of time.


Work Schedule
This is a full-time position that is regularly scheduled to work a minimum of 35 hours per week. Some early mornings and/or late evenings may be required. This position is considered to be exempt from overtime under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
