Southworth Products, located in Falmouth, Maine, has an immediate opening for a full-time Repair Parts Coordinator to help our customers purchase parts to repair or modify our machines.

The Repair Parts Coordinator is an effective communicator and a creative and organized thinker who is interested in learning and is well-equipped to complete a variety of tasks and initiatives.

Responsibilities:


  • Prepare parts quotes to repair our equipment in the field and process parts orders.
  • Create recommended spare parts lists so customers know what critical parts to stock.
  • Ensure all required information is documented for entering an order.
  • Review sales records, engineering drawings and documentation and any other relevant and available information to ensure customer needs are satisfied.
  • Collaborate with Engineering when assistance is required to determine what parts are necessary to repair a customer's machine.
  • Maintain accurate records for our parts and equipment.
  • Assist the Customer Service Warranty department when required.
  • Enter Return Material Authorizations when required.
  • Do indepth research into requests to modify our equipment.

Qualifications:


  • Three to five years of directly related experience.
  • Equivalent to an undergraduate degree in business or completion of high school with business training and relevant experience.
  • A history of related experience, dependability, and an aptitude for the requirements of the position will also be considered.
  • Mechanical aptitude and understanding with a preference for experience reading mechanical drawings or blueprints.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills. This is a professional position that will be engaging with our dealers, end users and coworkers daily.
  • Familiarity and comfort with Microsoft Office 365.
