Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Data Abstractor

  • Quality Management
  • Remote Opportunity.

Responsibilities:


  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data elements.
  • Reports data to appropriate agencies or data bases timely.
  • Develops reports to be utilized for quality reporting.
  • Works with members of the Quality Management department to identify needed data elements for abstraction and recommends design changes for clinical system build.
  • RepRepresents the Quality Management Department and works collaboratively with members of various clinical departments relative to quality improvement activities

Minimum Qualifications:

To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree Nursing. Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License. 3-5 years Clinical experience as an RN providing patient care in an acute facility. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, detailed oriented, analytical presentation, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to interpret Data.


Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse License-NYS


Preferred Qualifications:

Master's Degree Nursing. American Nurses Association orHealthcare Information and Management Systems Society.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements.

The salary range for the role is $92, $138,642.63 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.

The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
