Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Clinical Data Abstractor
- Registered Nurse
- Quality Management
- Remote Opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Responsible for the accurate and timely collection of data elements.
- Reports data to appropriate agencies or data bases timely.
- Develops reports to be utilized for quality reporting.
- Works with members of the Quality Management department to identify needed data elements for abstraction and recommends design changes for clinical system build.
- RepRepresents the Quality Management Department and works collaboratively with members of various clinical departments relative to quality improvement activities
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree Nursing. Current and valid NYS Registered Nurse License. 3-5 years Clinical experience as an RN providing patient care in an acute facility. Excellent communication (both oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, detailed oriented, analytical presentation, problem solving and multi-tasking skills. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Ability to interpret Data.
Required Licenses:
Registered Nurse License-NYS
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree Nursing. American Nurses Association orHealthcare Information and Management Systems Society.
