Join us on the path of a modern administration, as the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark is currently seeking a Gender Equality Officer EG 10 TVÖD (VKA), up to 39 hours/week, permanent, location Bad Belzig, Staff Department of the District Administrator, Office for Equal Opportunities, Diversity and Seniors.

Your responsibilities include promoting and monitoring the implementation of the legal mandate for gender equality in the district administration to realize the fundamental right of equal rights for women and men, as well as advising and supporting the employees of the district administration.

You will also be responsible for organizing, coordinating and moderating regular specific working groups/networks on gender equality issues for the district (e.g.

working group "Combating violence against women and girls in the district of Potsdam-Mittelmark"), planning and implementing actions/exhibitions/conferences and other events on gender equality topics in the district, and participating in meetings of the district council and committees (exercising the right to speak).

You will also provide advice and contribute to the development and strategic advancement of various district development strategies (e.g. digitalization strategy, mobility strategy, district development strategy and mission statement) from a gender equality perspective.
