Job Summary :
Moon Valley Nurseries is seeking an MVP Tree Maintenance Foreman to manage our MVP Tree Maintenance program year-round. Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Inspecting Soil Condition/Water Penetration
Inspecting Tree Wells for Proper Water Retention
Discussing Proper Watering Schedule with Customer for Seasonality
Fertilization
Disease Inspection
Pest Inspection
Trunk Wrapping/Painting Checking
Inspecting Trunk Caliper/Strength and Remove Staking
Tree Canopy Inspection
Tree Trimming/Pruning
Maintaining a working knowledge of our products and appropriately recommending them to our valued customers.
Providing exceptional service throughout the customer's experience.
Communicating effectively inperson & over the phone to discover the customer's wants and needs.
Selling AND closing a customer based on their wants and needs.

Qualifications:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

This position requires weekend availability and may require other duties as assigned; responsibilities may vary by location.
Must have a clean driving record (with DOT drug & health screen) insurable with MVN's insurers.
Complete/pass Criminal background check.
Clean driving record (with DOT drug & health screen) insurable with MVN's insurers required.
Experience in a retail, nursery, landscaping, or related environment preferred.

Education :
HS Diploma

Physical requirements/Working conditions:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move items over 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Able to work outdoors for extended periods of time in possibly extreme conditions, including rain, heat, sun, and wind.

Subject to MVR and Criminal background check

Compensation:
$50,000 - $60,000 per year + bonuses & commission

Benefits + Perks:
- $50k - $60k Base Salary

7% commission (Paid biweekly)
Potential quarterly bonuses offered.
