At the
Institute for Biomedical Technologies - Experimental Molecular Imaging, we are currently seeking a


Technical Assistant (m/f/d) for Translational Biomedical Research


to be filled as soon as possible with the full contractual working hours (currently 38.5 hours/week) initially on a project basis until March 31, 2025.

There is the option of extension.


Your Tasks

  • Conducting cell culture experiments
  • Conducting drug testing
  • Conducting animal experiments
  • Conducting imaging studies
  • Preparation and staining of tissue sections
  • Immunohistology and fluorescence microscopy

Profile/Qualifications:


  • Completed vocational training as a Medical/Biological Technical Assistant or a degree in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, or a comparable education
  • Experience in histology and microscopy
  • Experience in laboratory management, cell culture, and conducting animal experiments (mouse model) desirable
  • FELASA-B certificate or willingness to acquire one
  • Very good English skills in spoken and written form
  • Experience with MS Office
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
