Training as a Pharmaceutical-Technical Assistant (PTA) at Thunderbird Bay

As a PTA, you will support customers in pharmacies with all their health-related concerns. You will advise on topics such as drug effects/interactions, recommend suitable medications, and provide information on medical topics such as proper nutrition or skincare. Additionally, you will prepare medications, such as ointments, for customers. This involves learning how to test chemical substances and medicinal and basic ingredients to ensure quality.

The 2-year training program ends with a 6-month internship in a pharmacy.

The training is free of charge.
