Description:


  • Analysis and evaluation of software packaging requirements.
  • Support in assessing and documenting the implementation of GPO solutions for software packages.
  • Support in implementing Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) processes for software packages.
  • Development / testing of software packages using the following packaging software: Flexera Admin Studio and execution of Microsoft Software Installer (MSI) packaging and repackaging (MS ORCA).
  • Participation in the client software life cycle.
  • Monitoring and updating of software products in patch management.
  • Implementation and optimization of packaging and quality assurance policies.
  • Scripting of routines using PowerShell.
  • Support in handing over software packages from projects to operations.
  • Support in implementing release management processes.
  • Knowledge transfer / training of internal employees.
  • Support in quality assurance measures for packages and clients according to specifications.
  • Execution of MS App-V sequencing / packaging for additional packages.
  • Conflict analysis and resolution in packages.
  • Writing and reviewing quality management or operations documents.
  • Execution of quality assurance measures based on test case lists.
The person deployed for the service must have in-depth knowledge acquired through at least four years of professional experience in the following areas of an enterprise environment:

  • Experience in using ITIL tools and within ITIL processes.
  • Experience in creating updates and patches for small, medium, and large software packages.
