Responsibilities:

  • Obtaining and comparing offers and conducting price negotiations in coordination with strategic purchasing
  • Disposition including order processing of assigned product groups while considering minimal inventory levels
  • Ensuring a smooth material supply by monitoring and adjusting delivery dates
  • Prioritizing, coordinating, and escalating delivery bottlenecks and delays
  • Continuously optimizing material disposition in terms of processes, automation, and efficiency
  • Reminder management of delivery dates and missing order confirmations, as well as creating and sending delivery schedules and forecasts
  • Actively participating in the development of cooperative supplier relationships
  • Providing exportrelated documents such as certificates of origin and LLEs, as well as supporting import processes

Qualifications:

  • Successfully completed technical education with commercial training or a completed commercial education with high technical competence
  • Several years of professional experience in purchasing is advantageous
  • Independent, structured, and responsible way of working
  • Good knowledge of MS Office applications, ideally also in SAP
  • A true team player with a focus on finding solutions and customer orientation
  • Occasional willingness to travel
  • Good English skills, both written and spoken
