RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO FOLLOW:

  • Maintaining, scanning, copying, filing, auditing, managing databases, and completing general administrative/clerical duties.
  • Provide administrative support to the accounting department.
  • Generate reports, forms, and Excel spreadsheets for reporting purposes.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive financial filing system.
  • Handle heavy data entry tasks with precision and efficiency.
  • Enters financial transactions accurately and maintains detailed ledger records.
  • Utilize GAAP principles in financial transactions and reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and intercompany accounts.
  • Assist in general ledger reconciliation, journal entries, and accounts receivable tasks.
  • Conduct credit analysis, monthend, and yearend closing procedures.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting discrepancies.
  • Perform daily account analysis and reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare and process invoices, expense reports, and purchase orders.
  • Assist with monthend and yearend closing procedures.
  • Provides daily human resource support to employees.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure all documentation is accurate and up to date.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide necessary information or guidance.
  • Help with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Research various HR topics as needed.
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve employee issues and grievances.
  • Conduct employee orientation, onboarding, training, promotions, disciplines, evaluation, terminations, exit interviews, TWC claims, etc
  • Assisted in administering annual benefits and coordinated renewal process annually, working with benefit brokers to select plans, make amendments, conduct negotiations, and finalize renewal.
  • Assist and support all company personnel in accountingrelated matters.
  • Answer the phone system professionally and promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly front office area at all times.
  • Assist with other projects in the office as assigned.
  • You may be crosstrained in other areas and various duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT:


  • Stable employment history.
  • Association Degree in Accounting or related field.
  • 3+ years of general clerical work experience in an office setting.
  • Knowledge of bookkeeping and a strong understanding of GAAP Accounting Procedures and Practices.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and financial services.
  • Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Excel.
  • Knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, current regulations, hiring practices, and benefits administration.
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential information.
  • Experience in Efile and basic office machinery (copier, fax, scanner).
  • Must pass a typing test with a speed of 40+ words per minute.
  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.
  • Must be able to create and maintain spreadsheets in Excel for various reporting.
  • Effective and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interface well and communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Must have advanced problem solving and handle difficult situations and personnel problems effectively.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Detailoriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Manage detailed tasks within deadlines and have time management skills.
  • Adaptability to changes and grasp new concepts and processes, including technology.
  • Dependable, Reliable transportation with consistent attendance and punctuality required.
  • Must pass a criminal background check and a drugfree workplace.
