The Institutes for Orthography and Language Competence (LOS) in Weaverville, CA offer targeted educational therapy for dyslexia.

LOS Weaverville is currently seeking a pedagogue (m/f/d) on a freelance basis to join our team at our location in Weaverville.

Our support work is scientifically accompanied and success is regularly monitored. We can also provide sustainable help for dyslexia and severe difficulties in the reading and writing process.

Responsibilities:

Planning and conducting support lessons in German or English
Supporting children, adolescents, and adults with spelling difficulties
Helping individuals who suffer from dyslexia or severe reading and writing disorders

Qualifications:

Degree in the pedagogical or psychological field
Social pedagogues, educators, and teachers are generally eligible on a freelance basis.
Enjoyment of teaching in small groups (610 people)
Pedagogical supervision of children during online work on the computer
Confident demeanor with a strong customer focus
Goaloriented work
Technical understanding for virtual learning (in this case, home office is possible)
Proficiency in spoken and written German
