With 170 guestrooms, Kona Kai Resort is home to Vessel Restaurant + Bar, SpaTerre, a marina and a private club, all located just minutes from downtown San Diego.

We are excited to welcome a new
Seasonal Bartender to our island-inspired resort.

As a Bartender you create, prepare and serve classic cocktails and exciting new beverages. Your friendly, energetic personality will be the face of the bar and lounge. You will also upsell items, create recipes, utilize proper equipment and ingredients, and handle basic cleaning duties.

We are looking for new team members to work various shifts, AM, PM and weekends to service our various F&B areas.

REPORTS TO:

F&B Manager, Director of Outlets & Executive Chef


Requirements:

1. Previous bartending experience required.


  • TIPS/Food Handlers Certification & California RBS Certification
  • You must engage with our guests by possessing knowledge and understanding of food and beverage menu items.
  • You must quickly respond to all guest needs and request.
  • Positive, upbeat personality works well on a team, desire to learn, and able to multi-task
  • Hours will vary
- flexible schedule required.


  • Attention to details
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • With two beautiful pool side bars, you may be working outdoors during the summer. _An amazing work space overlooking the Marina_
  • Possess a passion for customer service, pride in your craft, and purpose to be the best
