DIAKOVERE gGmbH is the operator of three hospitals - Friederikenstift, Henriettenstift, and Annastift - and is the largest non-profit employer in the field of health, education, and social services in northern Germany.

You can become part of this strong team, as we are currently looking for a Clinical Coding Specialist (m/f/d) for our Medical Controlling department at the earliest possible date.

The position is unlimited and full-time.

Your responsibilities:

Primary coding of inpatient hospital cases
Review and supplementation of coding across disciplines based on patient records
Review of patient records for completeness of documentation for billing purposes
Case discussions and training with physicians
Coding accompanying cases on the ward

Your profile:

You have a qualification as a clinical coding specialist (m/f/d)
Ideally, you already have professional experience. However, the positions are also suitable for beginners/career changers.
Medical knowledge would be desirable.
You are proficient in using MS Office applications and hospital information systems, ideally with experience in AGFA/ORBIS.
A willingness for continuous training and further education is a given for you.
