This includes the eight districts:
Dahlem, Lankwitz, Lichterfelde, Nikolassee, Schlachtensee, Steglitz, Wannsee and Zehlendorf. As diverse as our districts may be, our approximately 309,000 inhabitants are also diverse in their needs. The goal of the district administration is for everyone to feel at home in Steglitz-Zehlendorf.


The Facility Management service unit manages, operates and administers buildings, facilities and equipment as a service provider for the entire district of Steglitz-Zehlendorf.

The services within the Facility Management service unit are provided by the three departments:
Property Management, Building Services and IT.

  • Accompanying commissioning and maintenance of existing building automation systems in schools, sports facilities and other administrative buildings in the district
