Your tasks:

  • Responsible for research and development in the fields of information transmission, optics, and materials science in internal and cross-departmental development teams
  • Design and oversee state-of-the-art products throughout the entire production/product life cycle
  • Conduct risk analyses through product qualification in collaboration with international laboratories
  • Evaluate, qualify, and approve new products for mass production
  • Develop new security features for identification documents
  • Drive innovation in the ID document industry

Your profile:

  • Degree or further education as a technician in the fields of physics, chemistry, plastics engineering, or a comparable technical field
  • Proficiency in technology monitoring and a strong passion for technology, experimentation, and innovation
  • Desirable experience as a process engineer (m/w/d)
  • Good knowledge of German and English language in spoken and written form
  • Good computer skills in MS Office and ideally SAP knowledge
