Description

Our client, Willcox, is currently seeking an experienced Embedded C++ Developer to join their highly collaborative embedded team in the Darmstadt area.

As a rapidly growing company, Willcox is well-known for their expertise in image processing and computer vision technologies for industrial applications.

This is a unique opportunity to be a key player in a dynamic company at the forefront of technical development in the industrial sector.

You will work closely with a small, collaborative team within the larger development department, and your responsibilities will include:

Designing and developing embedded software for image processing using C/C++
Evaluating and validating embedded processor technologies
Collaborating with members of other teams, particularly those working on hardware development
Integrating standardised software interfaces for IoT and Industry 4.0

About you:

To be successful in this role, you should have a master's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

You should also have several years of experience in C/C++ development on embedded Linux, as well as a solid understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery, software deployment, and the V-model.

Ideally, you will also have extensive skills in one of the following areas:

Product development for image processing
Realtime or FPGA development
Linux Kernel development and/or configuration
Excellent communication skills, preferably in both English and German
