Description

We are currently seeking candidates for the position of Wholesale Trade Apprentice at De Soto. This apprenticeship program will focus on the wholesale trade industry and will last for 3 years. It is available at all of our locations.

As a Wholesale Trade Apprentice, you will have the opportunity to work in various industries, including retail and manufacturing, and will be responsible for purchasing goods from both domestic and international sources, as well as selling them to businesses in the trade, craft, industrial, and service sectors.

You will also provide related customer service.

Your responsibilities will include selling goods and services, calculating sales prices and ensuring quality standards, monitoring the market and assessing sales opportunities, identifying sources of supply, evaluating offers, and purchasing goods.

You will also plan and conduct purchasing and sales negotiations, provide customer advice, process customer orders, handle payment transactions and complaints, assess credit risks, analyze key figures and statistics for performance monitoring, and derive measures for improvement.

Additionally, you will plan, manage, and monitor logistical processes in the areas of goods receipt, storage, and dispatch, select and use logistics services, record goods receipts, monitor inventory levels, and conduct inventories.

You will also utilize foreign language information and provide information in a foreign language.
