We are currently seeking a

Employee for the city's public works department (m/f/d)


in the area of green maintenance in the Department - Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Public Works - on a temporary full-time basis.


The main tasks include the following areas:

  • Maintenance and cleaning of public paths, roads, areas, and squares
  • Landscape and tree maintenance (e.g. mowing, pruning, and cleaning work)
  • Work in the cemetery area (e.g. opening and closing of graves, creating new burial fields, and maintenance)
  • Support for special operations (e.g. cleaning after public events)
  • Participation in winter service

We expect from you:


  • Completed vocational training in a gardening or landscape design profession
  • Driver's license class B, desirable also classes BE, C, and CE
  • Physical resilience, commitment, reliability, and teamwork
  • Experience in operating technical equipment (e.g. chainsaw
