We are currently looking for dispatchers (m/f/d) for our location in Pennsboro, WV to join our operations control center as soon as possible.


Your responsibilities:

  • Monitoring of duty schedules and vehicle routes, as well as initiating corrections in case of deviations
  • Documentation of all services and irregularities performed during duty
  • Organization of operational vehicle and personnel usage, as well as arranging additional trains and rail replacement services when needed
  • Ensuring operational rail replacement services and connections
  • Dispatching vehicles for maintenance and repairs
  • Data entry for performance billing
  • Coordination of accident management with involved parties when necessary

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed technical or commercial education
  • Excellent knowledge of operational procedures and processes in a railway company
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations in railway operations
  • Previous experience as a dispatcher (m/f/d) in a control center or as a train driver (m/f/d) is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Good German and English skills (spoken and written)
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions
  • Willingness to take on leadership responsibilities
  • Willingness to work in shifts
