    LS Building Products, Pontiac, Illinois

    JOB SUMMARY:

    • Report directly to the branch manager
    • Oversee all operations of the warehouse, yard, and delivery vehicles
    • Manage warehouse and CDL driver staffing levels, training and accountability
    • Strategically schedule and ensure accurate execution of deliveries
    • Ensure inventory is accounted for and appropriately stored
    • Oversee the maintenance and documentation of equipment
    • Coordinate with inventory purchasers, outside and inside sales staff

    SKILLS REQUIRED:
    Strong leadership
    Able to clearly communicate verbally and in writing
    Basic math and computer skills
    Forklift certified (or willing to become certified)
    Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in a fast paced environment
    Work independently or as part of a team

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
    Bending, pushing, pulling, standing, sitting for long periods of time

    Job Type:
    Full-time

    Experience:

    • Forklift: 1 year (Preferred)
    ·
    Warehouse Management: 1 year (Preferred)
    ·
    Pallet Jack: 1 year (Preferred)

    • CDL Certification (Preferred)

    Pay:
    $22 - $24 depending on experience. Daily OT after 8 hours. Paid weekly.
