Neckartenzlingen (approx.

6,500 inhabitants) is a family-friendly, livable and growing community in an excellent location (in the Neckar valley, district of Esslingen).

We are currently seeking a
Head of Building Management and Climate Protection (m/f/d) for our building management department, starting as soon as possible.

This is a full-time position with an indefinite contract and a salary according to pay group 10 TVöD.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Management of the building management department (including climate protection)
  • Technical building management, energy management, building and electrical engineering, building automation
  • Mobility concept (bicycle paths) and public transport topics
  • Inventory and assessment of current energy consumption and greenhouse gas emissions
  • Development, implementation and updating of a climate protection concept, establishment and implementation of monitoring
  • Project management and coordination of defined measures in the field of climate protection
  • Development of strategies for acquiring and managing funding
  • Documentation of results/controlling
The exact scope of responsibilities is subject to change.


We expect:


A completed university degree in energy and environmental engineering or a comparable engineering discipline, or a comparable qualification with additional knowledge in climate protection and energy management.

Ideally with professional experience in the field of energy and environmental management.
