RWE Offshore Wind GmbH, based in Hamburg and Essen, is seeking a highly motivated and confident Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) to support our rapidly growing international business.

As a Senior Legal Counsel (m/f/d) in the Construction and Procurement Law department, you will work closely with other members of the RWE Offshore Wind Legal Team and collaborate with other departments to provide a comprehensive and optimized service for RWE Offshore Wind's global business.

Your future plans

Provide legal support for RWE Offshore Wind's international procurement, construction, and operations activities, with a focus on Germany and Continental Europe
Advise, develop, draft, and negotiate all types of procurement contracts required for the entire life cycle of RWE Offshore Wind's business (e.g. turbine supply contracts, foundation contracts, EPC(I) and turnkey contracts, component purchase contracts, service contracts, maritime logistics contracts (e.g. BIMCO), etc.)
Act as the first point of contact for legal advice within a project and efficiently coordinate specialized internal and external legal advice
Oversee all legal matters related to projects within your responsibility (including matters covered by other specialized lawyers) and advise management on all associated legal risks, including claims and disputes
Drive standardization and process improvement initiatives
Develop nonstandard, tailored solutions when necessary to address complex project challenges
Build and maintain effective crossfunctional and crosscultural working relationships with colleagues from the legal and business
