The
SMART Hand and PC Mover ensures the smooth operation of IT equipment and facilities at client sites. They assist with desk setups, moves, reclaim processes, and address miscellaneous IT equipment requests.


Responsibilities:


  • Regularly carry over 40lbs
  • Unbox equipment.
  • Process requests for desk setups, including monitor installation, orientation, upgrades, and PC placement/setup.
  • Follow up postvisitor departure to collect PCs and other IT peripherals and return desks to a clean state.
  • Assist with desk moves, including generating move materials, labeling desks, and physically moving desks based on user move plans.
  • Maintain a preset number of PCs built and ready to deploy and develop additional PCs based on individual ticket requests.

Hard skills:

  • Experience installing, configuring, and operating computer systems is a plus.
  • Knowledge of troubleshooting issues related to IT equipment is welcomed.
  • Proof of applicable certifications and insurance
  • Able to provide the requisite tools and materials for the job
  • Proof of legal ability to work in the US

Schedule:

  • Scheduled as needed; this is not fulltime employment. It is classified as Contractor work.
  • 9 am5 pm and/or 3 pm10 pm
