We are looking for a Social Pedagogue (m/f/d) in our workshops in Friedberg and Reichelsheim in Forest Lake, IL:
The Disabled Assistance Wetteraukreis gGmbH (bhw) promotes, supports, and accompanies people with intellectual and multiple disabilities. Social participation, vocational qualification, and integration into the general labor market are essential goals of the company.


In addition to various living arrangements and a daycare center for children with and without support needs, we operate four workshops throughout the Wetteraukreis.

There, we support people with disabilities to provide them with a suitable place in the working world.


Your future responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for promoting participation, selfdetermination, and selfhelp skills of people with support needs in the workshop.
  • You take on social pedagogical support in the work areas.
  • You organize information exchange during case discussions.
  • You serve as an important interface in the social environment of the client (relatives, legal guardians, and other institutions of social support).
