Description

At the earliest possible date, we are looking for you as a qualified shunting assistant with the opportunity for further development as a train driver (m/f/d) for DB Fernverkehr AG at our location in Dortmund

Your tasks:
You are responsible for handling shunting activities and preparing long-distance trains
You will ensure proper preparation and accompany shunting activities
Creating wagon lists and brake slips, as well as attaching digital or manual reservations, are part of your daily routine
You carry out your tasks reliably in accordance with the required and prescribed regulations
You are also responsible for parking and securing vehicles
You assemble and disassemble trains and are proficient in using the shunting radio

Your profile:
You have completed a vocational training and are qualified as a shunting assistant
You are also authorized to perform brake tests
Your professional experience has given you excellent knowledge of railway operations and you are willing to acquire additional necessary qualifications
You are willing to work in shift and alternating shifts, as well as on weekends and holidays

You are willing to obtain a train driver's license and have the unrestricted fitness according to TfV or are willing to obtain it.
