To strengthen our accounting team of 5 members, we are looking for you to join us immediately in a full-time position as:
Accountant/Accounts Payable Clerk (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities with us:

As an accountant/accounts payable clerk, you will be responsible for invoice processing in the finance department
This includes handling ongoing business transactions in accounts payable, including checking, coding, and posting of incoming invoices
You will independently carry out bookings in the areas of accounts payable, travel expenses, and payments
You will be responsible for account clarification and reconciliation
You will manage and review the payment process and book and reconcile travel expenses, cash, and credit card statements
You will be the contact person for suppliers and internal smava employees in your area
With your experience and knowledge, you will actively participate in process improvement and internal projects.

You are:

You have successfully completed a commercial apprenticeship or a comparable qualification
You have at least 2 years of professional experience in (accounts payable) accounting in a tax consulting firm or in the accounting department of a dynamic company
You are familiar with the regulations of VAT law and relevant HGB extracts for correct input
