Overview
Our client is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join their team at State Center. In this role, you will be responsible for developing safety switchgear systems for global players in the mechanical and plant engineering industry, as well as machine users.
Responsibilities
- Develop real-time applications on embedded control devices using C/C++
- Create software specifications, define and estimate work packages, design software with hardware connections, and develop user interactions
- Ensure development quality by following recognized standards and processes
- Drive future technologies in the industry
- Create internal and customer-specific documentation independently
Requirements
- Completed studies in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field
- Experience with real-time systems on embedded microcontrollers, C, C++, event-based scheduling, decentralized small computer systems, and common fieldbus and network protocols
- Basic knowledge of object-oriented software design, ARM microcontrollers, CAN, Java, HTML, XML, and LINUX
- Ideally, several years of professional experience in embedded control or project work during studies
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Proficiency in German (B1 minimum) and
