The non-profit FINDER Academy is dedicated to creating a fairer and healthier society. Effective, ethical, and sustainable prevention and health promotion programs are instrumental in achieving this vision.

We develop and implement high-quality prevention and health promotion programs.

We collaborate with political decision-makers to promote the societal integration and evidence-based approach of prevention and health promotion.


We provide training for professionals, decision-makers, and the public in evidence-based prevention and health promotion, and support the professional and personal development of individuals and organizations.


We promote the formation of networks to increase knowledge and willingness to implement evidence-based concepts of prevention and health promotion.

Responsibilities


We are currently seeking a part-time (19.5 hours/week) Press and Public Relations Officer (m/f/d) to join our team in Pittman Center, TN.


Key responsibilities include:


  • Managing our website and social media channels for communication with various stakeholders
  • Creating texts for press releases, brochures, and website content that bridge the gap between science and practice
  • Assisting an external film team in creating a project report
  • Professionally planning and coordinating our events
Qualifications

General requirements

  • Completed university or master's degree in a relevant field (public relations, media and communication studies, journalism, communication psychology) or equivalent qualification with professional experience in the field
  • Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
Specific requirements

  • Knowledge or strong interest in the field of health sciences and willingness to deepen knowledge
