The Department of Landscape Conservation and Green Spaces is responsible for the maintenance, preservation, and beautification of parks, green spaces, cemeteries, and roadside greenery.

We are currently seeking motivated employees to support us in tree care.

The starting location is currently the Stolberger Straße construction yard in Ehrenfeld.

Your main tasks

You
- carry out tree care measures in a team under supervision to restore safety on roads and park trees according to the ZTV Baumpflege (Additional Technical Contract Conditions and Guidelines for Tree Care)
- take measures to secure construction sites in flowing traffic
- operate service vehicles, possibly with trailers (2.8 to 9.0 tons permissible total weight)
- work with machines after appropriate instruction
- work in the basket of a lifting device
- assist with simple safety measures
- perform loading and cleaning tasks
- are available for winter service work

You bring with you

At least one year of professional experience in gardening and relevant experience in handling the machines and equipment commonly used in green maintenance and upkeep
