Essential Functions:


  • Participates and leads security training projects to evaluate the impact of training, redesign existing standards, create new learning tools to address gaps and/or strengthen the management and quality assurance processes.
  • Keeps abreast of developments in various areas of security training and learning.
  • Designs, plans, monitors, and provides new hire orientation as well as core and specialist learning programs for security personnel.
  • Develops, designs, coordinates, and administers examinations and tests related to training materials to new hires and other categories of security staff as directed.
  • Assesses training needs and identifies solutions, including content, cost and delivery mechanism and/or process.
  • Oversees the company's Fire Life Safety training and compliance programs.
  • Review, through interviews and onsite evaluations, security procedures and memorialize same in a comprehensive, grammatically correct, and efficient way.
  • Identify gaps in knowledge, processes, and procedures and be able to propose solutions and/or best practices to close the identified gap.
  • Manage the overall library of approved procedures and processes and make changes as directed or needed and promulgate same
  • Performs other related work as required, including but not limited to managing the company's training solutions

Experience/Skills:


  • Knowledge in the field of design, delivery and evaluation of training and learning, including knowledge of diverse delivery methodologies (e.g., online, blended and facetoface delivery methods).
  • Ability to coordinate and implement the team's resources in accordance with the training implementation plan.
  • Proven ability to plan and organize work. Good drafting ability and communication skills, both oral and written. Proven ability as a trainer.
  • Ability to identify issues, formulate opinions, and make conclusions/recommendations.
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals.
  • Solicits input by genuinely valuing others' ideas and expertise; is willing to learn from others; places team agenda before personal agenda; supports and acts in accordance with final group decision.
  • Actively seeks to improve programs or services.
  • 5 years' experience in Security Guard services or other service business.
  • 5 years' experience developing and delivering training.
  • Knowledge of FDNY Fire and Life Safety Curriculum preferred

Pay:
$90, $110,000.00 per year
