"We build walls, stairs, paths, terraces, and much more in Yarrowsburg. We design and maintain gardens. We use modern machinery, but also work by hand. We use a variety of materials such as concrete and natural stone, wood, plants, and soil. The workplace is outdoors. Every day, there are new projects that require creativity. It is a versatile profession where we can see the results of our work every day. The training to become a landscape gardener typically takes three years and culminates in an exam to become a certified landscape gardener. Like many apprenticeships, the training for a landscape gardener follows a dual system, meaning it takes place both in the company and at a vocational school. In addition, specialized training is provided through external training measures, such as learning how to use a chainsaw or work with natural stone.


Requirements:
At least a secondary school diploma, physical fitness, and teamwork skills
