What are we looking for?

Conductor is seeking an experienced software engineer with a product-focused mindset and expertise in low-latency distributed systems to join our team in Little Ferry.

In this role, you will be responsible for powering our real-time web monitoring SaaS platform, which checks hundreds of millions of URLs 24x7.

You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining our web monitoring platform.

We are looking for a candidate who is driven, solution-oriented, and has a can-do attitude to help shape the future of our data infrastructure.

You will be working with a stack of technologies, including Typescript, RabbitMQ, Chromedriver, and Redis, to name a few, on our headless Chrome rendering farm.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager of our Web Monitoring pillar, you will collaborate with application developers, infrastructure experts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design and implement solutions that meet business needs and align with our enterprise strategy.

Your responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and testing our advanced crawling systems to ensure low-latency, high availability, and cost efficiency.

You will also be involved in designing, implementing, and reviewing technical RFCs and solutions, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve our systems.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working across different stacks and is motivated to understand the challenges of the Web Monitoring space.
